CTCA hosts an annual educational conference and two business meetings each year, in the Spring and Fall. These events present advances in TB care and prevention with public and private sector providers in California, fostering collaboration and networking among experts and newcomers in the field of tuberculosis care and prevention.

CTCA Meetings

Monday, June 8th, 2026

Please join us before the 2026 National TB Conference gets underway, for the CTCA TB Controllers Meeting (11:00-3:30, working lunch, box lunch provided) and a 1.0 CE, 2026 TB Case Radiology Training (4:00-5:00).

Nominate your outstanding TB program nurse or allied health professional for the following awards to be given at the 30th National TB Conference in June. Nominations are due May 1st.

The Brenda Ashkar Award is designed to honor the contributions of Registered Nurses who prevent and control TB in CA and to inspire Registered Nurses in their ongoing efforts to eradicate TB.

The Andy Lopez Memorial Award and Scholarship is designed to honor the contributions of allied health professionals to TB control efforts in California and to support the ongoing TB training and education of allied health professionals.
